This vintage 4x8 Persian kilim is believed to be a Shahsavan tribal rug. Handwoven in wool circa 1950-1960, its design favors a beige field with red, navy blue and teal diamond patterns. Keen eyes may further admire other motifs in the lower field. This mid-century Persian Shahsavan Kilim further enjoys good condition for its age and origin.
