This hand-knotted wool vintage Turkish Oushak gallery rug features a stepped diamond-shaped medallion with palmette pendants floating in the center of an abrashed terra cotta field. The medallion contains a large center blossom surrounded by blooming palmettes, vinery, buds, and small rosettes. Adorned by graceful floral vinery and additional palmettes, the corner spandrels complement the designs of the medallion. Two panels at either end of the field feature a cypress meander design.
