Zanjan Hamadan Rug, Middle Eastern, 1960s

Chairish

$905

The hand-knotted oriental Zanjan rug was made in Iran during the 1960s. Traditionally flatwoven and dyed in shades of rustic red, black, and ivory, Zanjan or Zanjan Hamadan rugs are a type of traditional Persian rug originating from the city of Zanjan, located in northwest Iran, near the Hamadan region. The city is an important stop on the Iranian Silk Road and is also a center for the production of high-quality Persian rugs. The rug is in original vintage condition. It has signs of wear due to age, fabric loss, abrasions and damage to the fleece. The rug will be professionally cleaned and ready for use before shipping. The colors of the products shown in the photos may differ slightly from the actual ones. This is due to individual monitor settings and lighting conditions – the photos were taken in artificial light, which may affect the perception of colors. However, we strive to ensure that the photos reflect the actual appearance of the product as faithfully as possible. The offer may include photos of item in the living space, but these are for illustrative purposes only.
