The Shahsevan Confederation:The Shahsevan were a tribal confederation in Northwest and Western Of Azerbaijan. To the rug and textile collector they are best know for their Sumac bags, They also made Kelims and some pile rugs and bags.Without a adoubt this has been one of the most beautiful & colorful tribal runner that I have come cross in recent years. This type pf Shahsavan runners do not come arounf very often, it is unique in every way, as far as the pattern & color combination goes. It is in very good condition for its age, kow even flat pile from top to bottom with both ends 100% intact including original kilms. It measures 2'-10" x 11'-6".
