This hand knotted wool vintage Turkish Oushak hallway runner features three hexagonal medallions filled with angular botanical motifs and extending angular vines with palmettes at either end floating in an abrashed and weathered red field. Serrated ziggurat mounds with triangular checkered pyramid shapes reach towards the center composition. Each corner spandrel is composed of serrated curled sickle leaves breaking into the striated field. It is enclosed with a meandering leaf border flanked by an inner meander floral guard band.
