Indoor saunas are delivered via flatbed trailer with pre-assembled panels and detailed installation instructions. Assembly typically requires two people, basic tools, and a few hours to complete. A licensed electrician must install the heater. Customers are notified two weeks prior to the scheduled delivery to allow time for preparation. A forklift is recommended for unloading; however, saunas can also be offloaded manually, piece by piece, with the help of 3-4 people in approximately 30-60 minutes. Many customers have successfully used this method. Indoor models are designed to sit directly on your existing flooring. The surface must be level and water-resistant. Suitable materials include concrete, ceramic tile, vinyl, or laminate. If your current flooring doesn't meet these requirements, an alternative foundation may be needed.
