I believe this statue is composed of a tough plaster composite. They labeled it as Marwal. There is an impression of the seal near the rear of the statue. This item may be used indoors or outdoors. The household it came frame had it positioned near the fireplace. I am attributing it to Sicily due to the tassles it has around its neck.
