This is a super cool handmade and welded iron sculpture by Oklahoma modernist Jesse Jay McVicker. This piece is signed JJM 74 to the base. It looks to be an abstract form of a rocket or airplane possibly, who knows. It really is well thought out with intersecting pieces and welds. And measures 4 feet wide. This piece actually sat on McVickers covered back porch most of its life. I have left it in its original state with oxidation overall. It looks to have been mostly painted black with a red ring on the end. I took pictures of all angles so you can see how the form changes depending on how it is viewed.
