This custom carousel horse was created in approximately 1986 by Tony Trezza. Horse is supported by brass pole with finial and base as shown. Third photo is of Tony posing with his sculpture. This horse was carved from Bass wood. Tony was always trying new mediums and styles. Quite possible that he woke up one day and said "I think I will carve a carousel horse.. There are two other wood contemporary wood sculptures that are currently in the family collection, and he also did commission sculptures in wood of a large totem pole and a contemporary phoenix rising. The horse is already crated as detailed below, which indicates the size of the crate and then the size of the sculpture.
