Large Bronze Buddha head displayed on a wood stand, Circa late 19th Century. Thai Ayutthai U-Thong A style buddha head with the square face and jawline typical of the strong khmer influence of this style of Buddha. Fragmentary head shows wear primarily to the back of the head above the neck where patina is most obvious. Lovely, serene piece with commanding presence.
