A 2024 Modernist metal stabile by the American artist William Wesley. This Calder inspired metal sculpture features a black tripod base that balances a black rod counter-balanced with blue, white, black, and orange circles. This sculpture is signed and dated "WW 24" to the largest blue circle. William Wesley is a contemporary Wisconsin artist specializing in kinetic metal sculpture. While working security for Milwaukee's Summerfest for over 40 years, Wesley sought a creative outlet to reduce stress during his free time. Wesley's lifelong fascination with art led him to a special admiration of Alexander Calder, who has inspired Wesley to create his own mobiles and stabiles.
