77" Tall Mid-Century Modern Female Nude Dancer Diver Sculpture attributed to Karl Hagenauer. Modernist high-polished brass sculpture featuring an elongated nude female form with an arched back and arms raised overhead. The stylized proportions and smooth, flowing lines reflect a modernist aesthetic, reminiscent of Mid-Century or Art Deco influences, in the manner of Karl Hagenauer. The dark patina on the head contrasts with the polished brass body. No apparent maker 's mark. The cement filled brass round stepped base measures 10" diameter and 7 3/4" tall. The sculpture measures 7 1/2" widest, 9" deepest and 69 1/4" tall. Overall the height is 77".
