Set of 2 Mid-Century Silvered Bronze Horses, attributed to Jean Joire, 1930s Wooden base, intact and in good condition. Jean Victor François Joseph Joire (5 September 1862 – 8 September 1950) was a French animal sculptor. In one photograph they were photographed with a bottle next to them so you can see the size. This piece is attributed to the mentioned designer/maker. It has no attribution mark and no official proof of authenticity, however it is well documented in design history.
