A modern abstract totem, this dramatic sculpture rises from a square base to split at the top, seemingly unable to decide if the way forward is through aspiration, or grounding. Well over five feet tall, it has been carved of responsibly harvested mindi wood, and given a cinder black finish that while deep and dark, still honors the intrinsic characteristics of the wood.
