The totem sculpture is made from a 100-year-old tree trunk, which Raffaello Biagetti had sectioned, set in an iron base and then painted in gold. Raffaello Biagetti represented an eclectic and visionary figure, beginning his figurative research first as a painter and then in the world of design, becoming an active participant in the birth and evolution of what would become a true international phenomenon in the years that followed, Italian design. Raffaello Biagetti immediately became an important reference for all brands on the Italian and international scene and established fruitful and lasting collaborations as well as friendship ties with designers, architects and entrepreneurs. He will give birth to the "Museo Dell'Arredo Contemporaneo" in 1988, a reference point for designers and enthusiasts from all over the world.
