Cheeta Sculpture

This stunning and powerful depiction of a majestic cheetah is handcrafted by Daniele Nannini using red clay. After hollowing out the sculpture, the artist sands the object to obtain a smooth surface that highlights the gentle curves of the animal. After a final firing it in the kiln, the piece is painted with a yellow tempera with dark dots to naturalistically render the natural coat of the animal.
