$1,615

What a fun work of art! Curtis Jere is the nom de plume for the artistic partnership of Curtis Freiler and Jerry Fels. They created distinctive metal sculptures from the 1960s to the 1980s. Their work often featured nature-inspired themes: marine, life, trees, birds, etc—all of which were rendered in brass, copper, and steel. This brass and copper bamboo tree was produced in the 1970s, and was very popular for its organic form and functional lighting, that created a beautiful and dramatic visual effect, by casting shadows on the walls and ceiling. The branches are bendable, so that you can create the form and shape that you desire your bamboo tree to possess. This tree will be shipped in two boxes: The branches will be in a 16”W x 16”D x 48”H The stem and the lighted base will have a 16”W x 16”D x 48”H The branches will be numbered to match their notches (placement) on the stem, for easy assembly. :)
