A post modern construction of multiple wall hanging elements created in 1979 by California artist Tom Holste. Although Holste’s colorful bas relief installations of resin and plywood are sculptural, he wished them to be viewed on the whole as paintings. He considered the wall itself to be integral as the ground for the work and provides a detailed template for the proper positioning of each individual piece. We did decide to deviate from it slightly, as well could you to fit the confines of a room or wall as needed. Sized by the artist to be 105.5" x 96.5", your actual layout could differ.
