Pair of reproduction portrait busts of Queen Maria de Medici and King Henry IV after the original large marble statues by Guillaume Dupré and Barthelemy Prieur which were destroyed during the Revolution. The busts were made of patinated cast iron while the bases are faux marble resin. They each stand 13.5" tall and make for a great display. They are both in good overall condition with a couple of repairs done well (the queen's nose and king's bust base). The queen's chin is also chipped but all these flaws add character.
