Destini Incrociati, Bowls 04

Named Destini Incrociati, or Crossed Fates, this series of marble and wood objects reference the endless possibilities of combining different components in creative ways. Like paths that unite different fates and perceptions, the sculptures blend elements with different characters. Round and hefty or elongated and slender stone parts come together thanks to the use of wood connectors. To produce the series, Italian studio Gumdesign collaborated with workshops from the Neapolitan area, who used Trani Biancone, Alicante Red, Guatemala Green, Siena Yellow, Emperador marble along with cherry wood to craft each product. These sculptural objects also feature light and dark colors as well as unique textures.
