Vintage carved wood caryatid corbel, a tall figure of a woman with long hair and a draped dress. This piece of architectural salvage is nicely carved out of oak and came from a building in St. Louis (reportedly a bar), dating to the early 20th or late 19th century. She's made to be viewed from all sides, but has hooks and wire for hanging on a wall, as well as a bracket that can be attached to the base for added security. She also is stable just resting on her base and looks great on a table or the floor. The corbel is in very good condition, with some surface wear and variations in wood color.
