Taxco is famous for fine silver craftsmanship. I was honored to work with the wonderfully welcoming family of master craftsmen. The electro-forming process is quite demanding. A mold is taken from the master design. The resin that comes out of the mold is hand finished. It needs to be totally flawless before the silver is applied. The figures are lacquered with an anti-tarnish coating.
