Frank meisler sculpture jewish art. plaque carved in low relief. depicting on the front the walls and gates of the city of jerusalem, the buildings within them, the temple mount and the hills around the city walls. on the back there are two lions depicted, with the biblical phrase engraved: “if i forget you, o jerusalem, let my right hand forget its skill. Let my tongue stick to the roof of my mouth if i do not remember you; if i do not place jerusalem above my greatest joy." sculpture sculpted and handcrafted by sculptor frank meisler, with silver and gold plated elements, marble base. frank meisler was an israeli sculptor born in gdansk and lived in london from an early age. He moved to israel in the late 1950s where he opened a workshop and a gallery of his works. he created several works and monuments for different nations, such as the memorial for kiev, the holocaust memorial synagogue in moscow, etc. the work is a multiple and bears the artist's signature and numbering on the front. This piece has an attribution mark, i am sure that it is completely authentic and take full responsibility for any authenticity issues arising from misattribution
