A 1930s French Art Deco bronze sculpture of Diana, the Roman goddess of the hunt. Cast in bronze with a dark patina, the figure kneels in a poised stance, bow drawn and gaze lifted skyward. A flowing cape extends behind her, heightening the sense of movement and strength. Resting on a black marble plinth, the piece measures 9.5 inches tall, its scale ideal for a mantle or console display. Condition: Very good vintage condition. Bronze shows a naturally aged patina with subtle surface wear consistent with age. One corner of the marble plinth is chipped, as shown in photos.
