Two tabletop sculptures depicting Buddha hands in different "mudras" or positions, Indonesia, mid-20th Century. One of the hands depict the "Abhaya" mudra or position, which symbolizes fearlessness. The third one is the "Gyan" mudra, where the index and thumb fingers unite to form a circle, and symbolizes focus, wisdom and knowledge. Each sculpture is hand-carved out of black volcanic rock, and mounted in a made-to-measure black metal stand. Each sculpture is sold separately.
