Holstein Saddle Rack / Sculpture

Both a stylish saddle rack and an eye-catching wooden sculpture, this unique design is a concrete example of Louis Sullivan's motto "form follows function". Fashioned of ash wood, this saddle rack is minutely polished and finished by hand and lastly lacquered with an open-pore technique employing brown water-based varnishes. A celebration of aesthetics and functionality, the aluminum plate wall mount with polished edges completes the piece.
