This sculpture, Homage to Newton, was cast by the Perseo Foundry in Mendrisio, Switzerland, using the lost-wax casting method from a mold made from Salvador Dalí's original work, created in 1980 and first cast in that same year. The sculpture was cast posthumously after Dalí's death.
