According to Greek mythology, it was Poseidon who brought the Arabian Thoroughbred out of the sea with his trident. Nicknamed "prince of the desert", the oldest race, the Arabian thoroughbred by its extreme flexibility, its aerial paces and great intelligence. which allows him to quickly assimilate the new exercises. Undisputed master of endurance, the thoroughbred Arab is a versatile horse, both beautiful, sporty and with a good mind. This galloping Arab thoroughbred comes to enrich the bestiary Lalique. Trained as a jeweler at the Ecole des Arts Decoratifs in Paris in the late 1880's, Rene Lalique gained recognition as an independent designer for some of the era's great jewelry houses including Cartier and Boucheron. Eventually, he turned to glassmaking, and his techniques were a triumph for the Art Deco movement. Every piece of Lalique is finely detailed and produced by hand in Alsace, France.
