From my personal collection of over 100 alabaster grapes from Italy is this rare burgundy specimen. Popularly brought back to the USA from trips abroad as souvenirs, I've acquired them at Roundtop, Brimfield, Scott Antique markets, estate sales and flea markets the world over. They look spectacular amassed in an unused fireplace, a giant clamshell or bowl and equally appealing solo on a shelf, mantle or atop a coffee table or book stack. This particular cluster has about 24 “grapes" attached to a real grapevine stem and has some loss of its colored lacquer in spots commensurate with its age.. The alabaster orbs range from .75" to over 1.25" in diameter with slight variations. Alabaster portion alone is 7" long and stem is 4.5" showing. Overall Dimensions: 11.5" x 5" x 4"
