Antique 19th century french bronze of of a polo player signed j cuvelier and cast and inscribed to base by h lippens & cie. Cuvelier began exhibiting at the paris salon in 1867, and exhibited this model of a polo player there as well other bronzes. His career was unfortunately cut short as he was killed in action only three years later, defending paris in 1870. height: 42cm width: 38cm depth: 16cm this piece has an attribution mark, i am sure that it is completely authentic and take full responsibility for any authenticity issues arising from misattribution
