Color, form, and line are defining features of his art. His work is represented in the Stedelijk Museum Amsterdam and the Museum Boymans van Beuningen Rotterdam, among others. His abstract work is characterized by strong distortions and deformations, giving it great expressive power. Recognizable are organic human forms combined with vegetative and mineral forms.
