A wonderfully cast example of the Dancing Faun of Pompeii by Fonderia Sommer of Napoli. It has exceptionally fine features and great detail. It has unfortunately been repaired on one foot, please see the detailed pictures. The patina has been polished off and the bronze is a gold color. It is stamped with the foundry mark on the back. There are minor nick and imperfections as well. The large scale of this piece is wonderful.
