Monumental wall sculpture made of painted papier-mâché by Mexican artist Sergio Bustamante (b. 1949). Titled "Sun Eclipse," this large-format composition presents a surreal fusion of anthropomorphic faces of the sun and moon sharing facial features. In this piece, the sun merges with the moon to create an eclipse laden with symbolism. The central medallion is framed by undulating rays with a color gradient that transitions from deep red to yellow. The piece is signed and numbered 39 of 100 on the right edge.
