Circa 1861 bronze sculpture with dark brown patina by Emmanuel Fremiet (French 1824-1910). Small horse with cat passenger. Titled "Horse of Saltimbanque 2nd Version", on the saddle are two puppets. To fully appreciate the fine details, you have to realize that the cat measures 2" high. Signed Fremiet in base, tiny numbers on opposite side of base. Scattered areas of patina wear.
