They are extensively exploited by commercial fisheries. But you can have these little fellas and remain a friend of the oceans. Comprised of hammered, bent, and weighted metal which are mounted on bases of Kansas limestone or a round ceramic base. They are each signed by the artist, native Kansan, Larry Peters. Larry Peters is a native Kansan and received his BFA from Washburn University in Topeka, Kansas in 1962 and his Master of Fine Arts from Southern Illinois University in 1965. He was Gallery Director of the Alice Sabatini Gallery and curator of the collection at the Topeka and Shawnee County Public Library 1975-2003.
