I'm pleased to offer for sale this magnificent one-of-a-kind garden patio sculpture featuring a bust of Guanyin set in a concrete block base encased by a driftwood box adorned with copper. While I'm unsure of its precise age, I believe it to have been purchased in Indonesia in the 1970s. Also, while set in a concrete platform base, the bust itself is made of stone -- likely Indonesian andesite. Regardless, it's a truly exceptional piece! The platform box measures 14.5" wide x 9" deep x 6" tall. The bust measures 11.5" wide x 10" deep x 16" tall. The overall measurements are 14.5" wide x 11" deep x 22" tall. The sculpture weighs approximately 70 pounds. It remains in excellent condition, with some scuffs to the ushnisha and what is likely water marks on the back of her head -- further suggesting the material to be andesite.
