Mid-Century Modern abstract brass kinetic table top sculpture circa 1960. Features three spear shaped interlaced, concentric triangular loops rising on a single pole above a blue rectangular base. The base is weighted inside and is quite heavy for stability of the piece. The center most trilateral piece is removable and held in place with two small notches that join perfectly with the larger loop. Each piece is cast in an elliptical or convex design so that the center is thicker than the edges. A beautiful period sculpture. Unsigned. Good condition - there is oxidation and verdigris on the metal that adds to the overall character of the piece. Also a stray white paint drip. Measures 16 1/2" tall x 7" x 8 1/8".
