From a New York City estate, we have a pleasure to offer you this Monumental Pair of Chinese Antique Stoneware Figures of Mythological Generals. Statues date to early 20th century, made in the Tang Dynasty style. Each figure is wearing the period garb, appearing as being blown by the wind. Each sculpture is stamp marked on the underside with a period mark - see photos. Figures are in good overall condition, showing age / use wear, minor chips and an antique repair to hand of one (please see photos). Size is extra large and impressive 21" height, 13" wide and 8" deep front to back. This pair will display great in any traditional or mid-century modern setting.
