Vintage bronze camel rider group from the Dogon people of Mali. A mounted male figure, wearing a tiered cap and holding a curved implement, is accompanied by a second figure seated behind suggesting themes of travel, protection, or status within trans-Saharan life. Cast using traditional lost-wax methods, the surface retains a rich, time-earned patina with visible wear and casting irregularities that speak to its age and hand-worked origin. Each is sold individually.
