Pair Of Antique Bronze Statues Of Poets Robert Burns & Walter Scott

This pair of antique bronze statues are unmarked, but presumed to have been made in England in approximately the year 1900. These statues are well executed and depict both famous poets, Robert Burns and Walter Scott respectively. Each bronze is mounted on a stepped base composed of a stone which appears to have been painted black with a lacquer finish to mimic polished slate.
