The bodies are adorned with carved saddle blankets featuring a central shou medallion (longevity symbol) within a geometric border and a yin-yang symbol on the saddle top. The elephants are mounted on custom carved, pierced hardwood stands, shaped to follow the contours of each figure and elevating them as sculptural objects.
