Precious glossy bronze sculpture, depicting an eagle that stands on a rock and rises widening the wings up while he is about to take off. L'Aquila feathers are wonderfully detailed and intricate. The head of the animal is remarkable: the beak, like the legs, differ from the rest of the body for a characteristic golden patina. The location of this bird is surprising and powerful.
