About the Artist: Paulino Larrañaga Longarte (Eibar, April 13, 1918 – Donostia-San Sebastián, March 3, 2011) was a prominent Basque sculptor, engraver, and painter. He began his artistic training at the age of 13 with Jesús Berecibar "Txopa" and Jacinto Olave. Throughout his career, he combined artistic creation with teaching, serving as a professor and president of the Eibar Artistic Association.
