A creative union of two intrinsically different materials creates this original object that can be displayed on a console, sideboard or mantelpiece to bring an alluring accent to any room. Depicting a sawfish, this sculpture has a handcrafted top of white grès with a hand-painted glaze of blue and metallic enamel and turquoise vertical gradients. The bottom is old lumberjack saw, re-purposed to evoke the grooved lower belly of the fish. The forked tail is made of metal and is connected to one of the metal rods with squared base that form the stand.
