Gorgeous Lalique Louisiane Peacock from the 1970's. This well known, retired crystal sculpture was designed by Marc Lalique and was produced between 1970 and 1979. The piece stands approximately 14 inches (35.5 cm) tall and features a blend of clear and frosted finishes, a signature characteristic of Lalique crystal work. The condition is pristine. Designer: Marc Lalique Production Period: Introduced in 1970 and retired in 1979. Description: The sculpture depicts a beautifully stylized peacock with a gracefully arched neck, and an elegant crest. It is etched in a satin finish in places and details are carved. Signature: hand-signed "Lalique France" on the base.
