FREMIET" | a Charles More cast numbered 38 Item # 311GTS04P A very early lifetime casting by Charles More numbered 38, the present example is silky and positively glows with a rich nuanced brown and caramel surface patina. The model captures the entirely relaxed spirit of the recumbant husky dog with its bushy tail bouncing and eyes alert while taking a rest on a naturalistic base. The base is signed with a raised signature captured directly from the mold with no evidence of cold-tooling "E. FREMIET". Cast circa 1860.
