It is off white matte porcelain colored glazed ceramic covered with charcoal black graphic drawings, diagrams and sketches from the sketchbook series. The subject matters range from a fish to a house, to a box, to a chair, and other sketches. Yuri Zatarian was born in Mazatian Mexico into a Spanish Russian family. He is an artist of all mediums being a painter, sculptor, engraver and designer. From a very early age he was always attracted to art and his work has won him many awards too to numerous to list. He has participated in well over 250 exhibitions all over the world as well as private art collections. His drawings are of a poetic nature and involve a high level of spiritual entity. His accolades and credits range far and wide. This is an amazing ceramic and our favorite in the collection now.
