Contemporary designer and artist Richard Rooze was born in Amsterdam, Netherlands in 1954. He studied contemporary art at the Rietveld Academy in Amsterdam and started as a designer. His passion for glass art was born in the past during an exhibition by Stanislav Libensky. In the late 20th, he came into contact with glass producers, artists and glass blowers and these encounters have allowed him to work for many museums and exhibition, among others.
