T Bowl From Di Luca Ceramics

Bowl L is made of ceramic using the Naked Raku and Raku technique. The Bowl is created entirely by hand and is finished on the potter's wheel to give it a nice, smooth appearance. Three layers of sealed earth are applied to the surface to increase its luminosity. Each Bowl is fired twice, the first time called a "cookie" and the second time on the Raku kiln. A blue Crystalline crackle is applied to the inside of the Bowl. The outer surface is unglazed to ensure a natural and elegant appearance. A turquoise raku crystalline is applied to the foot. The contrast between the shiny interior and the matte exterior gives this sculpture a unique character. Stamped by Maker
