Alimondo Ciampi is a Florentine sculptor and medalist, a pupil of the sculptor Dominico Trentacoste. He takes part in five editions of the Venice Biennale, from 1909 to 1924 and participates in various other exhibitions in Italy and abroad. Some sculptures made by Ciampi have been included in the collections of prestigious museums and galleries in Italy and abroad. Ciampi's esteemed and prolific artistic production includes statues in plaster, terracotta, bronze and marble depicting mostly female nudes, busts of men, women or children. Ciampi in his sculptures seeks the harmony of the lines and the simplicity of the composition, showing himself faithful to the truth in his absolutely realistic but steeped in poetry representations. The sculpture is signed "Alimondo Ciampi Firenze".
